Hi, I'm Adi
I'm currently a senior at UC Santa Cruz, studying Computer Engineering. I love research, building things, and playing minecraft.
I'm currently part of the team at Wattnest, which is a SkyDeck backed startup building smarter controllers for equipment/appliances to enable demand flexibility and load shifting.
Before UCSC and Wattnest I attended Berkeley City College, and worked at both Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and Nova Measuring Instruments
At Berkeley City College I studied Electrical Engineering and received my Associates from Laney College in it. I was also a part of a few clubs and organizations there which was a great time in my life!
At Nova Measuring Instruments I worked on QA, and then pivoted to development because I didn't find it as enjoyable as I thought. I did a lot of research (mostly outside of work) on applying kernal PCA to our metrology tools/data for improved wafer throughput
I spent nearly as much time at Berkeley Lab as I did at Berkeley City College, and worked under the Building Technologies and Urban Systems Division while there. I co-authored a few papers, worked on open-source tools/algorithms, and built up a passion I believe will follow me for the rest of my life.
